Field Trip to VA State Arboretum (Clubs, Associations) Events in Manassas, Virginia


Field Trip to VA State Arboretum Location: Postal code 20110, United States Manassas, Virginia 20110 Starts at: 9:00 AM This is not an all day event Description: We will meet at my house at 9am to carpool to the Arboretum. I will need a few driver volunteers for the carpool, those interested please note in your rsvp that you can drive for the carpool and how many you can take in your vehicle. There are several miles of trails at the Arboretum, in addition to the main building, the boxwood gardens, the herb gardens and the native plant trail. I'm looking to do 3-5 miles. Once we arrive at the arboretum we can pair up members and head out to explore the various features of the location or we can tour the grounds en masse if everyone can agree on their sightseeing priorities. Bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy mid-day. After our day at the arboretum, we will grab dinner somewhere affordable on the way home. Pets are allowed on the Arboretum grounds, but not in the main bldg. and obviously your carpool buddies need to be ok with you bringing your pooch. Make those negotiations/arrangements with your carpool group once we have the final rsvp tally and eveyone is placed in their carpool groups.
