“My son has attended this school for two years now and we really love it. It's been such a good environment for him and parents are encouraged, if not begged, to volunteer in the school, which is great. I only wish I could volunteer more often than I can. Mr. Bell, the Principal, has been great and you can tell he's very involved in the school and knows the children. My son's teachers have been wonderful as well and I do feel he gets some individual attention if he needs it. Jennifer C.”

“This school is absolutely amazing...from the custodial staff who have friendly smiles, to the principal who remembers each and every child's name. Each child works at their academic level. When I visit the classroom, I see children working -effectively- independently. I see each and every one being challenged, but not overwhelmed. My daughter and son both have received the individualized attention they need to be(and feel)successful. Parents are encouraged to be a part of the learning process. The parent volunteer programs are exceptionally strong. The staff at CHR truly care about our children, and it shows.”

“C. Hunter Ritchie is the best elementary school in the area! The teachers are wonderful, they give alot of there own personal time to make sure our children perform to their fullest potential. We bought a house in this area just so our children could attend this school. C Hunter Ritchie also has an excellent GT program, our son really loves it.”
