Young America Works Public Charter School Reviews

“This school has no control over the students. There are too many students running the halls all day long. Students ignore teachers and talk on cell phones or play ipods in class. Teachers contact the office but nothing is done about these bad kids. They send them back to class and they are worse. Those of us who want to learn can't because there are too many problem kids in the class. The class sizes are large. Some classes have 25 or more students. Most of them are bad kids. I want to learn. The staff here really cares about the kids but the kids don't care about themselves or nobody else. Young America Works is not working.”

“It is a small school that is very homey and full of people that care for the children. The academics may be shakey. But the work programs and job help are in full swing for all the students that need it.”
