Gonzaga College High School Reviews

My son loved Gonzaga. He is now a sophmore in college. Gonzaga's faculty have an obvious love for teaching as well as a love for Gonzaga. They give the students respect and expect more from them and in turn, the young men act accordingly. At the graduation ceremony every student who wins an individual award is given a thunderous, standing ovation by the entire student body. They truly are 'men for others'. My son is having a great time in college right now but when asked if he loved it as much as Gonzaga, he said, 'I can't say that'. The school understands boys and that is why they thrive and flourish under their guidance and supervision. You could not ask for more.

I love Gonzaga! It's simply a great school. You dont have to worry about violence, all you have to do is get good grades. The Teachers are fantastic and I'm going to Harvard next Fall! Great School go apply!

Gonzaga is an excellent place for athletics. They are champs! But boys also flourish there in music, drama and several clubs. If you want your son to be an independent thinker, this is the place to educate him. The Jesuits will teach him to turn every thought, theology and politics inside and out until each of these 'Men For Others' is sure of what he really believes. Those beliefs will be his own. At Gonzaga, they know boys and know how to make them into men in the rough and tumble way that works for them.

Problem with location is the fact that Zaga has poor athletic facilities with limited space...

Absolutely the best education in town. Gonzaga shapes real men. The personal interest shown by the faculty and staff can only be rated at a 10+ This is the best choice I could have ever made for my son.

if you want you kid to get a cupcake country club education then send him to prep. If you want you son to become a 'Man for others' send him to GONZAGA.

Outstanding! Worth every dollar; best education your son can receive. Compassionate, challenging faculty. Extensive sports program as well as numerous performance arts available. Rigorous academic program combined with strong emphasis on personal development and service to others.

Gonzaga is an amazing school. They have fantastic academics, along with teachers and have a huge list of extra-curricular activities for your kid. When I was thinking about applying to Gonzaga, I heard from everyone I know who has gone to Gonzaga that they loved it and it's a place where anyone can fit in and make life-long friends. And I can't forget to mention the great athletic teams we have, along with the many different sports there are.

Our son loved every minute at Gonzaga. He not only graduated with a 4.2 average, he took advantage of many extracurricular activities, crew, water polo, debate, service programs. The long history of Gonzaga, with pictures of young men from the 1800s lining the walls, championship banners hanging in the gym, even the old classroom buildings, all made a tremendous impact on our son. Being part of such a tradition is something every young man should experience. Even our daughter, who went to an all-girls Catholic high school, has her own wonderful memories of Gonzaga, having been involved in Gonzaga's magnificent theater program. My wife and I had a great time at Gonzaga as well, working with other parents on all kinds of activities. I'm not sure even a five-star rating does Gonzaga justice. I'd say 10 stars at least!

You cannot go wrong sending your son here. This school is ranked very high academically, and even bested DeMatha in ESPN's national ranking of high school sports programs (#17 nationally). Not bad for a small, very selective academic school. And when was the last time you read about a Gonzaga student creating problems?
